CHI St. Vincent Helping Hurricane Ian Victims, Hosting ‘Save a Vampire, Donate Blood’

In the spirit of spooky season, we want your blood!

CHI St. Vincent is partnering with the Arkansas Blood Institute to host blood drives across the ministry. See below for dates and times.

All donors will get a limited edition glow in the dark Vein Drain t-shirt and one free admission to the Little Rock Zoo.

These blood drives will also go to help Florida after Hurricane Ian devastated the state. On Monday, Arkansas Blood Institute sent emergency units of blood supply to Florida to help replenish their blood supply.

Donations are essential to maintain a supply of blood during recovery efforts in Florida. Type O blood donors are especially encouraged to donate.

“Hurricane Ian left many parts of Florida unable to hold blood drives to support their patients,”
said Dr. John Armitage, Arkansas Blood Institute’s president and CEO. “We are asking our
donors to help us fill that life-threatening collection gap and help our neighbors near and far.”

Anyone interested in donating is encouraged to schedule an appointment.
