Christi Whatley Named Quality Leader

We’ve got a new Vice President and Chief Quality Officer, but the name may sound familiar, Christi Whatley. Christi spent nearly two decades at Hot Springs as Vice President of Quality and as Vice President of Operations. In her new role, she will oversee clinical quality outcomes throughout our’s hospitals and clinics and direct initiatives to ensure and improve excellent patient care.

“Christi has a long track record of driving success in quality and safety initiatives through innovation and process improvement,” said Dr. Doug Ross, senior vice president and chief medical officer. “We look forward to her service helping engage our coworkers and physicians build on the strong foundation of quality that we’ve already established.”

Christi is a certified public accountant. A Hot Springs native, she earned both her undergraduate degree and Master’s in Business Administration from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, and she obtained a master black belt certification in GE Healthcare’s Lean Six Sigma program.

She and her husband, Michael, live in Hot Springs.

Welcome back, Christi!
