Danny Jones Named Service Hero at Hot Springs

Danny Jones, a respiratory therapist in Hot Springs, was named a Service Hero for displaying the value of EXCELLENCE.

A patient in need of constant oxygen was being discharged. When their spouse came to pick them up, they brought a very small portable tank for the trip home.

Danny was called to advise how much oxygen was left in the tank. He said the tank was low and the patient needed to go straight home.

To save oxygen, Danny assisted the patient to their car with a hospital oxygen tank, even pushing the patient’s wheelchair.

“The patient later called the nurses station to let everyone know they made it home without any issues. Danny did not have to lend the extra oxygen, wheel the patient out or return the wheelchair, but he did! He is always kind, friendly and very helpful.”
