Dr. Stephen Penor Named Service Hero in Hot Springs

Dr. Stephen Penor was named Service Hero in Hot Springs for displaying the value of COMPASSION.

Dr. Penor was in the hospital lobby and noticed an accident involving a vehicle and our volunteer cart driver. Dr. Penor was quick to respond and called 9-1-1. He kept the volunteer’s neck stable and secure and helped calm the volunteer during a very scary time. The cart driver didn’t want to be taken to the Emergency Room in an ambulance, but Dr. Penor insisted.

We are extremely thankful for Dr. Penor and his quick response to a scary accident.
