Gameday Information for Saturday, Sept. 6, at War Memorial

On Saturday, Sept. 6, at 4 p.m., the Arkansas Razorbacks and Arkansas St. Red Wolves will face off at War Memorial Stadium. It is the first time these schools have ever played each other, and the game is anticipated to draw a large crowd. And of course, the Infirmary campus will be in the middle of all the gameday activities.

The biggest change on gameday will be to our parking setup. Coworkers who are coming to work that day should plan to park in one of the two northwest parking lots, adjacent to Markham St. These spots will be reserved for CHI St. Vincent staff only. We recommend arriving earlier than usual for your shift.

All parking lots adjacent to War Memorial Park, including the parking garage and Blandford Building parking, will be reserved for fans coming to the game. These lots will cost $40 per spot.

If you are a coworker and you don’t have to work, but you want to park on campus for the game, you will only need to pay $20. You must show your employee badge at the entrance to get this discount.

All proceeds from gameday parking will go to the new Coworker Outdoor Activity Center. If you haven’t yet heard, the new activity center will transform the top level of the parking deck into an outdoor activity space only for CHI St. Vincent coworkers! Plans for the activity space include a basketball court, pickleball court, track, outdoor workout stations, and picnic tables.

We do need volunteers to help us manage parking on gameday! If you would like to help out, please click this link and sign up for a shift. This is a great way to be involved in our fundraising efforts and score a free parking spot for the game.

Thank you all in advance for your cooperation and understanding. We know, especially for our weekend staff, this event presents some challenges. With your help, we will raise money for a new project that benefits all coworkers and show all of Arkansas that CHI St. Vincent is a great community supporter.
