Gayle Benintendi, New Infection Prevention Manager

Gayle Benintendi, who has served as one of our interim infection preventionists, has accepted the role as manager for the health system with oversight for  infection prevention at all four hospitals.

Gayle has extensive nursing experience including leadership in the OR. She transitioned into infection prevention in 2007 serving five years in New Mexico. Over the last four years she has served as an interim leader in Tennessee, Texas, California and New Mexico.

Her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren reside in Little Rock and she is delighted to be able to join us and be close to her family.  Please extend Gayle a big welcome in a very important role.
