Hot Springs Earns an ‘A’ in Spring 2024 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade

CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs has received Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades’ highest patient safety rating, an “A.”

An independent national organization, Leapfrog assigns grades to all general hospitals nationwide and updates those grades regularly. An “A” grade recognizes CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs’ commitment to providing quality, compassionate care to patients and protecting them and their families from errors, injuries, accidents and infections.

“Our nurses, doctors and entire healthcare team here at CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs are proud to have received this incredible rating,” said CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs President Dr. Doug Ross. “Our team works tirelessly for our patients and to ensure this healing ministry offers the best choice for the care of their loved ones. This rating shows our commitment to transparency, patient safety and the highest quality care for our patients across Southwest Arkansas.”

Developed under the guidance of a national Expert Panel, the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses up to 27 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to assign grades to more than 2,700 U.S. acute-care hospitals twice per year. The Hospital Safety Grade’s methodology is peer-reviewed and fully transparent, and the results are free to the public.
