Jan Frith, RN, Tap Dances Her Way to Retirement
Jan Frith, RN, is retiring after 45 years. She worked her last day in Surgery Holding at the Infirmary, wearing a tutu. Her patients and coworkers will always remember the fun atmosphere she provided by tap dancing for them on their birthdays. She will be greatly missed.
Jan wrote a poem about her years at the Infirmary:
This poem to my work family and friends I will start
It’s been almost 45 years for me to depart
With joy in my heart and a tear in my eye
It’s been fun to work with you, but I’m ready to say, “BY, By!”

Congratulations, Jan, and thank you for 45 years of excellent nursing!
