Meosha Tye Named Service Hero at Infirmary

Meosha Tye was recognized as a Service Hero at the Infirmary for displaying the value of EXCELLENCE.

Meosha was nominated by a coworker after she stepped in to help during a particularly busy day when 5E had several high risk fall patients.

Meosha saw the nursing staff struggling to keep all of these patients in bed in addition to their daily nursing jobs. She requested a few of these patients be placed in wheelchairs by the nursing station so she could help keep an eye on them.

“Meosha entertained three patients with dementia for several hours so the nurses could finish passing medications. Because of Meosha, 5E did not have any Code Golds called.“
