New Chief Nursing Executive Announced
Nancy Brown, RN, BSN, MNSc has accepted the position as Chief Nursing Executive (CNE) for CHI St. Vincent and VP Patient Care Services for the Infirmary, North and Morrilton. Nancy joins us after a long and successful career as the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at Norman Regional Health System (NRHS) in Norman Oklahoma where she has served since 2004. During her tenure at NRHS she provided oversight for System quality functions demonstrating marked improvement in quality, safety and patient experience measures. Nancy was also integral in the transition of Moore Medical Center (part of NRHS) after it was destroyed in May 2013 by a F5 Tornado. She has ties to Arkansas as she was also the Vice President of Patient Care Services from 1995-2003 in Pine Bluff, Ark.
Nancy is known to have strong engagement with physicians, peers, and the board, and utilizes those key relationships to advance the mission of the work and involve others who can assist in impacting key outcomes. She is very committed to leader development and coworker engagement. She leaves NRHS with a solid succession plan in place upon her departure.
Nancy is married to David and they have a son residing in Norman Oklahoma and a daughter that currently resides in Little Rock. She is looking forward to joining our ministry with an expected start date of August 1, 2017.
