We’re Getting Ready for June 29: ITS Service Desk and End User Computing Support Transition
Changes to help improve your IT experience are on the way. On June 29, our new My IT Support online portal will be ready. You’ll be able to:
- Request IT services and log issues.
- Skip the phone call and have an online chat session with a live service desk agent.
- Stay informed regarding the status of your tickets and requests via your own online dashboard.
- Get alerts on upcoming events and known outages so you’re informed and prepared.
My IT Support will look like this:
This new tool is part of our partnership with a new vendor for ITS Service Desk and End User Computing Support. You’ll still be able to call the ITS Service Desk like you do today at the same phone number. Calls will be answered by a new team.
You may also see different onsite technical support experts in our facilities. Our new partner, Unisys, will provide onsite technicians who are available within driving distance to assist you with issue resolution, maintenance and upgrades. They will bring with them new tools, new processes and a new service orientation. They will monitor our devices and help remote support experts resolve issues with our workstations, printers, networks and phones. And, they will round regularly in our facilities to proactively visit and help you. Please take the opportunity to get to know them.
Our new ITS Service Desk and End User Computing Support teams have been busy learning about our mission, vision and values to help them prepare to meet your needs.
As we get closer to June 29, we’ll provide:
- A My IT Support job aid and overview video.
- More details about how to complete a one-time registration step to access My IT Support. Registration only takes a few minutes.
