North RN Recognized with Third DAISY Award

Congratulations to Hannah Gurney, RN at North, on being recognized with a DAISY Award! This is Hannah’s third DAISY Award and her second in 2025. This honor came after a patient’s family member wrote in a nomination for Hannah’s kindness and compassion. Here’s the nomination:

“I would like to nominate Hannah for going above and beyond in every way possible. She showed not only clinical excellence but a level of compassion and care that touched our hearts. What stood out the most was how she treated my beloved husband like a person, not just a patient, by remembering small details, offering words of encouragement and ensuring comfort even when she was clearly working a very demanding shift. Hannah is truly a light in the hospital, a team player who leads by example and shows every day that the smallest acts of kindness make the biggest difference.”
