PC Refresh Team Identifying Computers for Replacement
The national PC Refresh team will be sending out surveys the week of Jan. 15 to identify PCs that are high priority for replacement. If you receive a survey, please reply promptly and thoroughly.
The team’s focus is identifying and replacing Windows XP and Windows 7 Non-standard workstations. If you do not use a Windows XP or Windows 7 Non-standard workstation, you do not need to do anything.
If your workstation is slated for replacement and you are identified as its primary user, you will receive a series of emails from [email protected] the week of Jan. 15.
- The first message will ask you to complete a short (less than 5 minute) survey to verify: information about you, your location and your current computer as well as the manual applications you are currently registered to use and any peripheral devices connected to your computer, such as speakers, mouse and keyboard.
- As part of the initial survey, you will be asked to pick a date to receive your new PC. Your new computer will come pre-packaged with your applications and be ready to connect to your preferred peripherals.
- Prior to your PC Refresh appointment, complete any pre-work, such as copying files or moving data.
- You will receive a verification email when your survey is complete. The project team will contact you if further information is needed.
