Practice Council Focused on Improving Patient Outcome

Hot Springs held its first Practice Council meeting. The practice council includes representatives from all specialty councils and is focused on how to improve patient outcomes. The council presents suggestions to improve patient care and drives decisions that impact nursing, such as: standardization of crash carts, new products for patient care, development of a team to ensure decisions are properly implemented, etc. The group consists of Teresa Lambert, Nurse Executive; Katie Treadway, MS Council Representative; Mike Long, NM Representative; Brook Watson, ED Representative; Hannah Williams, ICU Representative; Laura Skipper, Procedural Representative; Carla Buttram, Womens Representative; Allison Fitts, MS Representative.
