Sauté Peas with Asparagus for the Perfect Spring Side Dish

  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, chopped
  • 1 bag frozen peas
  • 2 tbs. olive oil
  • ½ small onion, minced
  • 1 tbs. honey


  1. In saucepan, heat olive oil on medium high heat. Add onions to pan and sauté until soft, about two minutes.
  2. Add asparagus to the pan, stir frequently, cook until slightly golden brown.
  3. Add peas and sauté 3-4 additional minutes.
  4. Stir in honey.
