Service Desk Changes Coming May 31
CommonSpirit Health IT is excited to announce a journey for our ministry to personalize and simplify your IT support experience. In coming weeks, new methods will be introduced to help you communicate with the Service Desk and easily gain access to more effective and personalized IT support when you need it.
On May 31, the first phase will go live with the CHI and Dignity Health Service Desks consolidating into one National Service Desk, which will offer more effective and personalized IT support when you need it.
Phase One Changes:
- Calling the Service Desk:
- Listen carefully as the menu options have changed.
- You will be asked for your My Information (Infor) Employee ID. This will provide the agent with your information, reducing the questions we need to ask.
- Your My HR Information (Infor) Employee ID is available in EmployeeCentral.
- Once you have opened EmployeeCentral, click on your initials in the circle on the top right corner (to the right of “My Favorites”).
- Select “My Account.”
- You will see an “About” page with your name, title, My HR Information (Infor) Employee Number and other information.
- If your Employee ID is not in My HR Information (Infor) or if you do not remember it, you can press # to be connected to the Service Desk.
- Over the next week, the IT Support Center icon will be updated on your desktop. You can use this icon to easily access the Service Desk to report an incident, submit a request or look up knowledge articles for self-help.
- It is recommended that you call the Service Desk or connect via chat with a live agent if you have an urgent issue.
- For routine inquiries, you can use Ida chat or go to the portal and log a service ticket.
This phase sets the foundation to personalize, simplify and Build a Better Experience for you. As we move forward, there will be several new features and options available for you to find solutions to your IT issues quickly.
