Summer Cereal Drive: Helping Feed Hungry Kids!

Thanks to you, our generous coworkers, we were able to donate more than 200 boxes of cereal in total to the THV Summer Cereal Drive to benefit the Arkansas Foodbank!

This initiative is a huge help to the children in our state. Unfortunately, 1 in 5 children in Arkansas face increased levels of food insecurity as schools close classrooms and kitchens during summer break. By donating cereal, we’re helping feed those kids until school is back in session!

During Coworker Week, we asked coworkers to bring boxes of cereal for a cereal drive and we want to keep it going! So far, we’ve collected about 250 items for the drive.

We’ve decided to take part in the THV 11 Summer Cereal Drive which benefits the Arkansas Foodbank.

Being a part of this drive provides non-perishable breakfast items that are both nutritious and kid-friendly for children and families in Arkansas who would otherwise go without the most important meal of the day – breakfast.

If you are able, please bring cereal, oatmeal or even breakfast bars and drop it off in one of the donation boxes at the Infirmary and Hot Springs. North and Morrilton please drop off your items in administration.

We will be collecting all of the cereal on Tuesday, June 6!
