Shauna Martin Recognized as Hot Springs Service Hero

Shauna Martin, RN, was recognized as a Service Hero for displaying the value of COMPASSION.

Shauna was recognized for the kindness she showed to a recent COVID patient who was dealing with great loss.

The patient’s daughter had died two years earlier from cancer, and her son had recently passed away after battling COVID. Because of her hospitalization, she was unable to go to her son’s funeral.

“(Shauna) came to the hospital on her day off to spend time with the patient, providing her comfort during a very difficult time. She displayed our core values of excellence and compassion. We are so grateful to have her serving our ministry.”
