Tiffany Hines Wins Honey Bee Award for Being “Team Player”

Congratulations Tiffany Hines, PCT, for being named a Honey Bee winner!

Tiffany works on 2NW-Cardiovascular at the Infirmary.

A coworker said there was a patient not doing well on the night shift. Both day nurses were in the room working with the patient and the night shift was only going to have two RNs on shift.

They said all licensed staff were in the room trying to control this patient’s bleeding and Tiffany took it upon herself to stay late and do the first round of 1900 vitals for night shift.

She also helped them transfer the patient to CCU.

“This helped night shift out greatly, keeping us on track for the night, as well as gave us someone on the floor to care for the other patients while we were busy with the one that was critical. Great team player! Thank you for always putting patients first!”
