Time for Flu Shots! Important Changes You Need to Know
As we’ve entered flu season, it’s time to get your shot! To help reduce influenza infection rates and prevent negative outcomes, flu vaccination is highly recommended.
Per CommonSpirit policy, coworkers must either receive the flu vaccination or complete the appropriate vaccination declination process. Our goal is to achieve 100% compliance and we need your support to achieve that goal. The deadline is December 1, 2024.
Please review the below information as there have been changes made to this year’s flu process, communication and policy.
Important Information:
- Employees:
Employees must log into ReadySet to complete their Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Survey. Readyset is a new electronic system that will remove all paper consents. Employee Health is offering vaccines to employees Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Employees, volunteers and physicians can utilize Employee Health. - Non-Employees (including contractors):
Non-employees are required to follow the CSH A-002 Seasonal Influenza Vaccination policy by reporting their flu status through their organization’s process. Non-employees are not required to provide vaccine documentation to Employee Health. However, they are still required to complete the ReadySet process. All non-employees who wish to be vaccinated MUST use an outside pharmacy (Walgreens, CVS, Walmart) or obtain from their health care provider. Non-employees may not utilize Employee Health for their vaccination.
