Infirmary, Hot Springs Pack 10,000 Meals for Hungry Arkansans
CHI St. Vincent is committed to improving the health of the people we serve, especially those who are vulnerable. Our mission was in action at the Infirmary and Hot Springs as coworkers packed more than 10,000 meals for Arkansans in need with The Pack Shack.
The Pack Shack is a non-profit organization that supplies ready to eat, nutritional meals to other non-profits like food banks.
They host “Feed the Funnel” parties at sponsoring organizations to put the meals together. The Infirmary made 5,220 meals that went to the Arkansas Food Bank. Hot Springs packed 5,390 meals that went to Project Hope Food Bank.
Dr. Gerry Jones, CHI St. Vincent Infirmary President, is a member of the Arkansas Food Bank Board and Tonya Baier, CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs Nursing Director, is a member of the Project Hope Board.
