Patient’s Choice Award for Behavioral Health Patient Tech

Congratulations to Jaleesa Singleton, patient care technician in Behavioral Health at the Infirmary, on receiving the CHI St. Vincent Patient’s Choice Award! Jaleesa was recognized after a former patient wrote in to praise her for a special step she took to make the patient feel more comfortable and confident. Here’s what the patient had to say:

“Jaleesa shaved my face and cut my hair professionally. Anywhere I would have gotten this done, it would have cost me $50. I feel refreshed, revitalized, and feel like a brand new man. I’m thankful for her. She didn’t make me feel uncomfortable in any way with the haircut. I feel better mentally even! Jaleesa is great at everything she does.”
