Angela Burton Named Service Hero in Hot Springs

Angela Burton was recognized as a Service Hero at Hot Springs for displaying the value of COMPASSION.

Angela was nominated by a coworker for the comfort and care she provided to a young patient who was treated at the hospital after a car accident.

“The child was quite traumatized and scared. The whole team
did amazing taking care of them, including the radiology tech that held their hand during the x-rays and kept the child calm.

“But Angela went above and beyond. Not only did she navigate a complicated family dynamic, she provided great medical care. She sang to the patient the whole time to CT, in CT and back because every time Angela stopped, the child cried. Angela went out of her way to bring comfort to this very vulnerable patient.”
