Becky Morris Wins Service Hero for Making Things Happen

Congratulations Becky Morris, Sterile Processing Coordinator, for being recognized as a Hot Springs Service Hero!

Becky has been with the ministry for 25 years, but has held multiple titles including Surgery Billing Office Scheduler, Team Lead and Administration Assistant to leaders in Perioperative Areas.

Her versatility and hard work ethic certainly shines.

“I can’t say enough about her dedication to the Mission and Vision of CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs. Her role requires many hats and she always wears those with a SMILE and a YES attitude of ‘I will make it happen.'”

Here’s just a few examples a coworker shared about Becky’s work to ensure success.

  • Report: We ask for a lot and Becky will find a way or reach out to the Mercy EPIC Team to dig until she finds what our teams need and ensures those reports get to us monthly and timely.
  • Regulatory Surveys: Becky is one of the first in the Periop area the surveyors want to talk with to ensure the Tissue Bank is meeting regulatory requirements and Becky is on top of it.
  • Order Process Changes: Becky took on the challenge and has found ways to help our teams be successful in absorbing the new ordering process.
  • Financial/PAT Process Changes: Becky jumped right in to help with the new process with no complaints about the additional work.
  • Clinic Collaboration for Scheduling: Becky is a liaison between clinics, clinic schedulers and the hospital to support surgery/procedural patients to make an easy transition for the surgery process.

“Her hard work does not go unnoticed, but more than anything I want to share her kindness and compassion to help her team and leaders on a daily basis.”
