Chae Brewer Named Infirmary Service Hero

Congrats Chae Brewer, Director Care Management, for being named an Infirmary Service Hero!

Chae was nominated by a coworker who admired Chae’s interaction with a hospital guest.

The coworker said when they came into the hospital one day, they encountered a woman who was awaiting transportation to a local shelter. After talking with her, the coworker went to Safety Huddle and found Chae to ask her help and advice.

Chae selflessly went outside and sat with the woman, talked to her, and made phone calls on her behalf. After leaving to attend a meeting, Chae came back to check on her and then spent over an hour sitting with her to ensure her safety and to make sure that her transportation arrived.
