Cindy Jones Named Technologist of the Year at Infirmary During Annual Celebration

Cindy Jones, RT, was selected by Infirmary radiologists as Technologist of the Year for the Infirmary during National Radiologic Technologist Week Nov.5-11.

The award is based on attitude, image quality, coworker engagement and respect for the CORE values.

Award runners up were Nick Taylor, Team Lead MRI Technologist; Emily Sparkman, Special Procedures Technologist; Ken Holman, Nuclear Medicine Supervisor; Sarah Stanley, Ultrasound Technologist; and Steve Starr, CT Team Lead Technologist.

The team kicked off their weeklong celebration with a breakfast on Monday.

The week commemorates the discovery of the x-ray by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen on Nov. 8, 1895. The week-long celebration calls attention to the important role medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals play in patient care and health care safety.
