DAISY Award Presented to Vicky Sanders

Congratulations Vicky Sanders, Director of Care Management, for being recognized as a Hot Springs’ DAISY Award winner.

Vicky was nominated by a coworker for her service to the ministry for more than 35 years.

She is described as someone who gives 110% in making sure patients are cared for and the ministry continues to grow and flourish.

The coworker who nominated Vicky said she has never backed away from a challenge and is always willing to step up when help is needed. In her current role, she works tirelessly to ensure patients have everything they need to transition from the acute care setting to the next level of care.

“Vicky thinks outside the box and has tackled LOS & readmissions with gusto. Under her leadership, our facility has seen our CMI increase and billing denials decrease. She is truly a steward of our resources and an asset to this facility. Vicky truly deserves to be a DAISY Nurse!”
