Delia De Los Reyes Recognized as Service Hero in Hot Springs

Delia De Los Reyes, clinical registry supervisor, displays the value of COMPASSION for welcoming a nurse who had just arrived from the Philippines.

The day the nurse arrived to begin onboarding, Delia walked into HR “with her warm smile and kind words.”

The two women, who were from the same area of the world, became fast friends. Delia helped the nurse get settled into her new apartment, and she invited her over for an authentic Philippine meal. She also helped the nurse, who arrived with what fit in her suitcases, purchase some items that were needed for her home using her own money.

“I can’t imagine how difficult it must have been for the nurse to come to this country without having a familiar friend to greet her on the other side, but something tells me that she has made a friend for life in Delia.”
