Dr. Corey Scott Receives Service Hero Award at North

Congratulations to Dr. Corey Scott for being recognized as a Service Hero at North. Read a snip from his nomination below.

Dr. Corey Scott is a compassionate and dedicated emergency department physician who works hard to improve our emergency department. He has worked hard on the ED throughput times. He shows true dedication to improving our trauma system here at North. Dr. Scott serves on the Injury and Violence Prevention committee and takes pride in his work by providing excellent patient care. Not only does he advocate for the welfare of his patients, but he is always present and available for his nursing staff.

He recently attended the Studer Conference in Nashville and has started having retreats at his home to engage his physicians with the mission of CHI St. Vincent.

Dr. Scott has also shown his dedication and drive for excellence by working at our Morrilton facility and giving up any free time he may have to make sure our patients receive the care that they deserve. Not only did he “take up the slack”, but he also stayed engaged with his administrative duties. It is a pleasure to know Dr. Scott and have the privilege to work beside him.
