Dr. Garret Lewis Recognized as a Service Hero at Infirmary

Congratulations to Dr. Garret Lewis, Emergency Department, for being recognized as a Service Hero at the Infirmary. He put our values into action by demonstrating EXCELLENCE after quickly acting to save a patient in critical condition. Read snip from his nomination:

One day while on shift, Dr. Lewis was approached by an EVS employee about a drop-and-run overdose case in the Emergency Department ambulance tunnel. The driver of the vehicle had already fled the scene on foot. Medical and Security staff were able to quickly transport the patient to a room where, thanks to Dr. Lewis’ quick action, the patient made a full recovery.
