Flu Vaccine Deadline Approaching December 1
The Employee deadline to receive the flu vaccine or submit a personal declination for the flu vaccine is quickly approaching on Dec. 1, 2022.
Employee Health will offer the following flu clinics:
- North – Nov. 28 | 6am – 5pm | Admin Lobby
- Infirmary – Nov. 29 | 6am – 5pm | Terrace Room
- Hot Springs – Nov. 30 | 6am – 5pm | Mercy Room
To help reduce influenza infection rates and prevent negative outcomes, flu vaccination is highly recommended for most people. The benefits of flu vaccination include a reduced risk of infection, severe illness, hospitalization, and death. Pregnant people and anyone with a chronic disease have a greater risk of flu complications if contracted, and vaccination protects these populations.
