Ernesto Muniz Presented with Infirmary Service Hero Award

Congratulations to Ernesto Muniz, emergency department, for being recognized as an Infirmary service hero in October 2022.

Ernesto was nominated by a coworker for showing compassion to a patient and her family.

An emotionally distressed patient came into the emergency department with her children. The patient requested some diapers for her children, but the ED didn’t have any. Ernesto not only helped entertain the kids, but he also went to Target on his own to buy large boxes of diapers and wipes for the patient to use and take home with her.
