Heather Lanham Recognized as Infirmary Service Hero

Heather Lanham was recognized as a Service Hero for displaying the value of COMPASSION.

Heather, a social worker at the Infirmary, was recognized for coming to the aid of a patient who lost their home and all their belongings.

The patient had no family or friends to help, and Heather worked tirelessly for months to find the patient a new place to live, despite many setbacks.

“Heather went above and beyond. Realizing that the patient had lost all of her belongings, she took time on her days off and spent her own money to buy the patient a new wardrobe along with some essentials to make her feel more at home when she left our care.”
