Hot Springs Coworkers Help Fill Shelves at Jackson House Food Pantry

Coworkers in Hot Springs helped collect food to donate to a local food pantry.

The Values in Action Committee in Hot Springs chose to partner with Jackson House. According to Mandy Davis, CHI St. Vincent Community Outreach Director, Jackson House is the only place in town that serves a hot lunch daily to those in need.

Jackson House serves roughly 200 meals per day. In addition to meals, their food pantry is available to individuals or families in emergency cases. This pantry includes baby food, formula, canned and dry goods, and more. They rely on the community’s generosity to fund and keep the crisis pantry operating.

Hot Springs coworkers donated peanut butter, jellies, jams, canned meats, soup and canned goods to Jackson House, and the Values in Action Committee recently dropped off the delivery.

Leadership agreed to match the donations with a monetary donation of $5,000 to maximize the impact!

“I was honored to match the committee with the community organization in an effort to meet their specific need. Way to go team,” said Davis.
