Hot Springs Internal Medicine Residents Celebrated at Inaugural Graduation Ceremony

CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs is celebrating the inaugural Internal Medicine Residency Class upon their graduation!

The graduation was held on Thursday, June 20 at the Oaklawn Event Center.

The Class of 2024 graduates includes:

1. Christopher Black, MD
   Peer Selected Resident of the Year
2. Brett Clayton, DO
   Peer Selected Charismatic Resident 
3. Harvey Potts, Jr., MD
   Medical Student Selected Resident as Teacher
4. B. Britt Schrock, DO
   Outstanding Resident of the Class: This resident has consistently exemplified CHI St Vincent’s core values, work ethic, dedication to lifelong learning and professionalism throughout residency.
5. Sumaiya Sharif, MD
6. Luke Grisham, DO

Alyssa Peters, MD, was also recognized as Outstanding Attending of Year.

A couple of the physicians will continue their education with a Fellowship. Dr. Grisham has matched Infectious Disease at UAMS. Dr. Schrock was accepted into the Endocrinology Fellowship at LSU-Shreveport.
