Hot Springs Primary Care Team Recognized as Service Heroes

The team members at the Hot Springs Primary Care Main Campus were recognized as Service Heroes for displaying the value of EXCELLENCE.

The team was nominated by the wife of a patient who is battling with stage 4 cancer.

The patient’s doctor said it was extremely important to get his flu shot. Because getting in and out of the car is very difficult for the patient, the doctor told the patient’s wife to bring him to the Primary Care office and call from the car. A nurse would bring down the flu shot, so they never had to leave their car.

In her nomination the patient’s wife wrote:

“There are not many places that you can go today where people truly care, but every time has felt like this. It is truly the smallest of deeds that make the biggest differences to those of us walking through storms.”
