Laura Clark Recognized as Service Hero at Morrilton

Laura Clark, APRN, was named a Service Hero in Morrilton for displaying the value of COMPASSION.

Laura was caring for a cancer patient who had already gone through a round of chemo.

The patient had chosen palliative care, rather than going through another round of chemo. The patient’s hair was matted, and it was going to have to be cut out. Instead, the patient asked that her hair be cut completely since it was falling out from chemo.

Laura went to Walmart and bought the patient head wraps and makeup to make her feel better. The patient was so grateful for Laura’s thoughtfulness and compassion.
