Leaders Celebrate 60th Anniversary of Little Rock Nine

We sponsored the kick off breakfast for the Little Rock Nine 60th anniversary celebration.

The breakfast was held at the Capital Hotel’s Quapaw Parlor. Market CEO Chad Aduddell and Aaron Austin, vice president of Human Resources, attended the event.

Monday, September 25 marked the 60th anniversary of the integration of Central High School, when nine African-American students, under the protection of military escorts, entered the formerly all-white school.

Anniversary events happened all weekend to commemorate the event.
