Mission Helps Provide Blankets to Hot Springs Residents as Colder Months Arrive

As colder temperatures arrive in the Natural State, CHI St. Vincent’s Mission team is working to keep people warm.

Mission connected with Linen King and they donated nearly 50 blankets to the Samaritan House.

The Samaritan House is an overnight shelter for men experiencing homelessness in Hot Springs. The shelter provides meals, showers and clothes. They also have a New Hope Resident Program that’s 10 months, where they offer an opportunity for personal growth, healing and spiritual development.

“The blankets are essential to our goal of offering warmth and comfort to those who need it, easing their struggles, and promoting a sense of community support and kindness,” said Joshua Vallotton, Program Director at Samaritan House.
