Morrilton Nurses Share Humankindness Beyond Hospital Walls

Congratulations to Courtney Linkous, Nurse Manager, and Julie Zachary, RN, Patient Care Coordinator, for being celebrated as Morrilton Service Heroes!

Compassionate care sometimes goes beyond the walls of the hospital. It’s evident that Courtney and Julie have a heart for their patients, past and present.

A former patient needed help with her infusions at home, and both Courtney and Julie volunteered to do so.

“Both are living our mission by providing compassionate care and truly loving on the patient during their time off.”

The coworker that wrote the nomination said they also go by the patient’s house every morning and evening to administer antibiotics. However, they provide more than just physical healing, but emotional as well.

“I have no doubt they are encouraging her and providing much needed emotional support.”
