North PCA Recognized for Extraordinary Patient Care
We’re proud to announce that Makaja Robinson, PCA II, at North has been recognized with the Honeybee Award! This award is for patient care and mental health technicians who go above and beyond to help people in their care. Here is what a fellow team member had to say about how Makaja provided extraordinary help to someone in need:
“I was taking care of a patient with altered mental status and this patient had no emergency contact and was unable to recall her daughters number. Makaja went out of her way to assist me getting in touch with the patient’s apartment manager after hours. With Makaja’s help I was able to get the patient’s daughters number and the patient’s dog that was alone in the apartment was placed in the safe care of a neighbor/friend. Makaja is more than deserving of this award. She always goes above and beyond with a beautiful smile on their face.”
Thank you, Makaja! We’re thrilled to honor you for the way you used your creative thinking and determined attitude to solve a big problem for one of our patients! Don’t forget, if you know of a patient care or mental health tech who is deserving of recognition, you can nominate them for a Honeybee Award!
