Sean Lindsey Honored with Infirmary DAISY Award

Sean Lindsey, RN on 4East, was recognized with an Infirmary DAISY Award for being both a wonderful caregiver and team member.

Sean’s nomination praised him as an “exceptional nurse” and an “amazing human being.”

“His patients call him the greatest of all time. His attitude is amazing. No matter how short staffed or how many patients he has, he cares for them and their families as if they were his own.”

The DAISY Award was established by the DAISY Foundation in memory of J. Patrick Barnes who died at 33 of ITP, an auto-immune disease. The Barnes Family was awestruck by the clinical skills, caring and compassion of the nurses who cared for Patrick, so they created the national award to thank nurses everywhere.
