Susan Lock Recognized with Hot Springs DAISY Award
Susan Lock, RN, a member of the float pool in Hot Springs, was recognized with a DAISY Award for the warmth and compassion she brings to her role.
In her nomination, Susan was praised for being a “people person” who clearly loves her work and all the people in it.
“Susan was always informative and to the point. She was quick to compliment others and never had a negative word. Even though Susan wore a mask, you could always see the smile in her eyes. Susan definitely enjoyed her work with a warm smile on her face.”
The DAISY Award was established by the DAISY Foundation in memory of J. Patrick Barnes who died at 33 of ITP, an auto-immune disease. The Barnes Family was awestruck by the clinical skills, caring and compassion of the nurses who cared for Patrick, so they created the national award to thank nurses everywhere.
