Taylor Crow Named Outstanding Emerging CPA
Congratulations to Taylor Crow, senior financial analyst at the Heart Institute, who was recognized with the Outstanding Emerging CPA Award by the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants during the group’s annual awards reception.
The award recognizes a CPA who has passed the CPA exam within the last 10 years or is 40 years or younger and has made significant contributions to the accounting profession and the community at large.
Crow was awarded for his exemplary leadership skills and volunteer service.
Crow earned his bachelor of business administration degree with a double major in accounting and finance from the University of Central Arkansas. He has worked as auditor with BKD, LLP and as a senior audit associate at Thomas & Thomas, LLP (now Landmark PLC) in Little Rock. In his current role at the Heart Institute, he prepares various budgets, pro forma financials and compiles and communicates billing and reimbursement data to physicians to increase their efficiency and productivity.
Crow represented Arkansas at the Association of International Certified Public Accountants annual EDGE Conference in 2016. He is a member and immediate past chairman of the ASCPA Emerging CPAs Committee, helping to guide the committee’s work as it continues to expand its reach and influence through events such as the annual End of Season CPE and Fish Fry and coordinating the lineup of presenters for the annual Emerging CPAs Conference, now known as the EQUIP Conference.
