Three Nominations for Hot Springs DAISY Recipient

Congratulations to April Edwards, RN, of Hot Springs on being named CHI St. Vincent’s latest DAISY Award recipient! April was recognized after three different patients reached out to nominate her for the award. Here’s what they had to say:

“She was amazing during our stay. She was very pleasant, helpful, calming and funny. We really enjoyed having her take care of us. She is fantastic!”

“I was in terrible pain and having back contractions and she went above and beyond to make sure I was as comfortable as I could be. She made my labor experience a little bit more tolerable and I’m so thankful for that! She is very knowledgeable and helpful as well.”

“She made sure that my every need was taken care of. She went above and beyond to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. She even made my boyfriend shut up a few times when he was getting on my nerves. LOL. She made me laugh and made me comfortable in my room. She was not uptight and tense like some nurses can be. She deserves this award wholeheartedly. She is very good at what she does. Show her the recognition she deserves!”
