Tobacco Free Workplace
CHI St. Vincent will implement a tobacco-free workplace policy, effective Jan. 1, 2018.
The policy complies with Arkansas state law, banning smoking at all hospitals, hospital grounds and parking lots.
The policy prohibits the use of all tobacco products, including e-cigarettes, on CHI St. Vincent property and applies to all coworkers, physicians, volunteers, contractors, visitors, patients, vendors and temporary staff at all CHI St. Vincent facilities. Smoking cessation help is available.
- Free smoking cessation classes beginning Jan. 10. To register for the class, call 501.552.6500 or to enroll, click here.
- Tobacco cessation drugs prescribed by a physician are covered 100% for those enrolled in CHI St. Vincent benefits.
