Wear Blue on Friday, March 2: We’re Launching Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month

On Dress in Blue Day — Friday, March 2 — you can join the mission to end colorectal cancer within our lifetime. By wearing blue, you and your coworkers become part of a nation of passionate allies, taking on this senseless killer. In 2018, more than 135,000 people will be diagnosed with this highly preventable disease. Tomorrow can’t wait!

Throughout March, we’ll be working with local TV stations, KARK and Fox 16, to share why folks over 50 need to get a colonoscopy. Our gastroenterologists and colorectal surgeons will be featured in several broadcasts.

And, Dr. Otis Gordon will be featured in a public service announcement showcasing facts about colorectal cancer and prevention.
