Auxiliary Christmas Luncheon Awards Presented to Volunteers

Edith and othersThank you to Edith Bowman for giving 15,000 volunteer hours to CHI St. Vincent. That is the greatest number of hours given by volunteers who were recognized at the Auxiliary Christmas Luncheon December 11 in Little Rock.

Maureen Johnson, Auxiliary Board Member; Juanita Carr, Auxiliary Coordinator and Polly Davenport, President CHI St. Vincent Infirmary & North presented the Years of Service Pen to Edith at the luncheon.

Edith can be found delivering mail to patients and performing administrative duties for Women and Children Services at Infirmary. Edith, a former CHI St. Vincent co-worker, volunteered even while working full-time at Infirmary and continued giving her time after retirement.

Twenty-seven other CHI St. Vincent volunteers were recognized at the Auxiliary Christmas Luncheon December 11 in Little Rock. Service Award Pins were given for 500 to 15,000 hours. The value of their contributions totals more than $176,000.

Other awards were given to those who exhibited the characteristics and volunteer spirit of former and current Auxiliary volunteers.

Betty Pullam received the Joan B. Wilson Award
Rasa Gillen received the Wendy Saer Award
Kay Mobley received the Thelma Marsh Award
