Chelsea Lantz Receives Service Hero Award at North

Congratulations to Chelsea Lantz for being recognized as a Service Hero at North. Read a snip from Chelsea’s nomination below:

Chelsea Lantz is a PCC on the Medical Surgical Unit at North. She always has a smile for patients, families and staff. Chelsea has a positive attitude and helps others in and outside of her department. She is a team player and is willing to float to other departments when needed. She comes in to work extra shifts to help her coworkers. Chelsea is constantly going above and beyond. One time Chelsea took care of a woman who had broken her hip (this woman was the only caregiver for her husband who had dementia) and Chelsea not only cared for the patient but also for the patient’s husband until placement was found for him. Chelsea helped the patient’s husband bathe and assured that he had a warm meal at meal times. She is a value to our staff and to CHI St. Vincent.
