Couple Honors Son with Caring Cradle Donation

Brady and Shelbi Garner donated a Caring Cradle in honor of their late son Owen Lewis. The Caring Cradle is a basinet with a contained cooling system that allows families to spend more time with an infant who has passed away.
Below is an excerpt from the letter they included with the donation:

On July 20, we got to say hello and goodbye to our precious baby boy, Owen Lewis. The care we received in the hospital and the love and compassion of the nurses and doctors made what was an indescribably difficult situation a little more bearable.

We wanted to give back to the hospital and positively impact other families that may find themselves in a similar situation. We are proud to honor Owen by donating the Caring Cradle in his name.

Our hope is that the cradle is never needed, but take solace in knowing that if needed, the extra time it can provide families may offer some peace.

The cradle donation was made possible by the incredible love and support of our family, friends and community. We hope that anyone who uses the cradle feels the comfort and support we have felt through this process.

Psalms 139:16 “You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.”

We are so incredibly grateful to Brady and Shelbi and for the positive impact the cradle will have moving forward.
